New yoga studio alert! Bring It Om Yoga only opened their doors in February 2019, and already it’s become one of the most talked about local, heated yoga studios in the city. We were dying to know what all the rage was about, so we reached out and had the privilege of chatting with co founders, Leticia Lopez and Elizabeth Beggs Spurill. Leticia and Elizabeth told us about their beautiful aesthetic in studio, upcoming workshops, and possible expansion. They even gave us the details on their plans for puppy yoga with the Atlanta Humane Society in the near future. How cute would that be?! To learn more about Bring It Om Yoga, check out Leticia and Elizabeth’s interview with us below and visit www.bringitomyoga.com for more information.

What makes your studio stand out from others?

Nestled in the heart of Buckhead inside Andrews Square, our beautiful studio offers a creative industrial chic vibe inspired in the yoga communities of New York City and Los Angeles. 20’ ceilings and panoramic windows add a unique vibe to our yoga room. Infrared heaters distributed throughout the room create the perfect environment to connect mindful breath and movement. Our unique mandala reflects our core values: Unity, strength, grace and kindness. We also offer our students complementary Reech mats and Manuka ergonomic blocks, straps and blankets. We have state of the art showers and lastly, we have some of the most sought after teachers in Atlanta with years of experience.

How long has your studio been in business?

We opened our doors February 16, 2019.

What kind of classes do you offer at your studio?

Our classes are very powerful both physically and mentally. The studio has 18 infrared heating panels guaranteeing you get your “sweat” on. Our yoga goes a bit deeper, you will definitely get a “workout”, but also a “work in”. We offer three different class types: Bring It Om® Power Flow and Advanced Power flow which are all about weaving postures together that will strengthen, stretch and restore your body from the inside-out and our Bring It Om® Yoga Restorative Flow class is a slow paced, low-intensity class that allows space and time to cultivate awareness and reflection.

What results can clients expect from your workout?

The yoga we offer is guaranteed to lengthen and strengthen your body. The heat helps with detoxifying the body for a longer leaner look. You can expect to walk out of our classes feeling not only stronger physically, but mentally as well.  Our mission is to inspire the self-discovery of true potential, strength and fearlessness while tapping into self love and compassion. We support our students in their journey towards a healthier lifestyle and mind-body connection. We #bringitom® together.

Are there any upcoming special events or workshops we should know about?

Yes! One of our very talented teachers is trained in Budokon Yoga (a style codified and popularized by martial arts and yoga master Cameron Shayne beginning in 2001) and will be leading a workshop on August 4th from 2-4pm and our Co Founder Leti Lopez will be representing our studio at this year’s Dirty South Yoga Fest August 11th. We have lots of workshops planned for Fall, so stay tuned!

Have you ever had any celebrity sightings in your studio? Give us the scoop!

Not yet, but we will flip out when that happens!

How do you give back to the community? Any charities you support?

We support Atlanta Humane Society and are partnering up with them for puppy yoga and have a few other things in the works. We continuously sponsor our students’ charities as well.

What should a first-time client know before attending class?

Clients should come hydrated and with an open mind to #bringitom®! They should be aware that we are a heated studio, especially if they are sensitive to the heat. The restorative flow classes are a bit cooler, so that would be a great place to start for anyone who might be newer to the practice or sensitive to the heat.

Any big plans for the future for your studio?

We will offer more and more workshops and are planning to have teacher trainings and retreats at the beginning of 2020. Also stay tuned for future  expansion soon!
