#TheFitAtlantaFest is right around the corner…

While we’re putting on the final touches for the festival, I wanted to write this to get you excited and prepared for Atlanta’s first fitness and wellness festival! We announced The Fit Atlanta Fest early in Spring 2018, and it’s been a whirlwind of fun, hard work, and learning to create the most interactive and engaging fitness lifestyle festival that is truly one of a kind. As a marketing professional, I’ve had my fair share of big events, expos, and conferences—so I want to prepare you with tips + tricks to help you make the most of your festival experience.

— Liz, Founder of The Fit Atlanta

1. Say Hello

I always encourage people who attend The Fit Atlanta events to make at least one connection before they leave. As the founder of The Fit Atlanta, I’m dedicated to cultivating positive relationships within the fitness and wellness community of our city. My advice is to let your guard down, be vulnerable, say hello, and be on a mission to make new connections. I have seen so many beautiful friendships form through our community having this attitude of kindness and openness—even for myself, some of my most adored friendships were born through The Fit Atlanta. At the festival, you’ll find that you’re not the only one who attended solo, is intimidated, not knowing what to expect… you’ll also find our that everyone is open to learning about you, sharing what they are at The Fit Atlanta Fest for, goals in life, and you may even find a buddy for they day by just saying hello.

2. Come Prepared

Charge your portable charger, bring a change of clothes for after the HIIT workout with Vibe Ride, and your conquer the world attitude! It’s up to you to make the most of your experience at The Fit Atlanta Fest, so I also suggest bringing business cards to share with people and brands you get to network with as well. Come loaded with questions, too! There will be Q+As after each panel (pro tip: jot your questions you have in your Notes app ahead of time). We hook you up with the rest: from notebooks + pens you’ll receive at check-in, to endless supplies of Fontis Coffee and granola snacks from Purely Elizabeth to keep you energized.

3. Be Social

The night before the festival we will have a networking + happy hour for attendees to come socialize and get to know each other. I highly recommend coming to happy hour meet + greet your fellow attendees in a chill setting while sipping Mighty Swell. There will so many “instagrammable” moments at The Fit Atlanta Fest, too, so make sure you have enough storage on your phone to take pictures and capture gorgeous content. Don’t forget to use hashtag #TheFitAtlantaFest so we can all follow along.

4. Do All The Things

There is no lack of fun things to do on-site at The Fit Atlanta Fest! We will have a VIP Lounge with movement therapy demos by speaker Jordan Cohen of Reviv MVMNT and Beautycounter touch-up bar, book signing by Kristy Dickerson, Author of Start Balancing, and pop-up shops from J.Dow Fitness, Mountain High Outfitters, Georgia Grinders, and more. There will be plenty of time to shop the marketplace, stop by the fun vendor booths to score exclusive festival swag and perks, and mingle! Take advantage of your time at The Fit Atlanta Fest and do all the things.

5. Be Bold

The Fit Atlanta Fest is your chance to take a step outside your comfort zone, introduce yourself to people you want to meet, ask questions you’re dying to know answers to, get to know the speakers. I want you to make the most of The Fit Atlanta Fest and leave feeling satisfied, inspired, and ready to take on the world—but it starts with you. Myself and my team will be all over our venue, Ambient Plus Studio, to answer any questions for you. If you see me, say hi! I love meeting our supportive Fit Atlanta community. And go get your ticket! See you there.
