I'm opening a bar on Edgewood called Black Sheep Tavern + Oyster Room.

WHAT’S YOUR HEALTH PHILOSOPHY IN ONE SENTENCE?

I help women lose weight by INCREASING their metabolism instead of DECREASING their calories, carbs, you name it. Sounds more fun, right? K that was 2 sentences but I wanted to emphasize the fun. 

WHAT ARE YOUR MUST-HAVE 3 SUPPLEMENTAL FOODS YOU RELY ON?

Acacia fiber, chia seeds, collagen peptides

TELL US YOUR MUST-HAVES IN YOUR DIET

Avocados and cheese. If either aren't in the fridge, it gives me anxiety.

SAME… SO HOW DO YOU STAY HYDRATED ALL DAY?

I fill up a 4-cup mason jar 3 times/day.

WHAT IS A HEALTHY HABIT YOU HOPE MORE PEOPLE CATCH ON TO?

The 12-hour fast. OMG GAME CHANGER. Just leave 12 hours between dinner and breakfast the next day without food. It's easy and you'll see a crazy improvement in your digestion and bloating.

SPILL YOUR FAVORITE SELF-CARE REGIMEN:

Mornings are important. This is where I set the tone. I do a 12-hour fast, drink a ton of water in the morning, meditate for 5-20 minutes (I love Wayne Dyer or Gabby Bernstein meditations), drink coffee on my porch, and get going.

ONCE A WEEK FOR MY HEALTH I...

…make it to workout class. I'm not great about workout motivation, and this makes me workout HARD at least once a week.

BEST HEALTHY FOOD OPTION ON-THE-GO:

Poke or Chipotle! I usually get a salad and skip the rice or get half rice. The Poke Spot downtown does zucchini noodles and cauliflower rice, too, which is amazing.
